Smell from garbage disposal.

Hi,

I am getting a really bad smell from my disposal. Can you tell me what it might be from and what I can use to make it stop smelling?

There are a few things that you can do to remove the smell from your disposer. If your disposer doesn't get enough use, it can get a build up of slime which can eventually smell. Try cutting up a few pieces of citrus fruit and running it through the diposer. Never put any chemicals down your disposer as that can do permanent damage to it.

We carry a product called "disposer care" which is another alternative to cleaning the disposer. It can also be found at most major hardware stores.
