Leaks in pipes and clogs are another common residential plumbing problem that people attempt to take care of themselves. Unfortunately most self-taught plumbers won’t see potential problems or the root cause of the leak or clog. Allowing us to repair a leak or fix a clog will prevent major damage in the long run as well as multiple trips to the store in the short-term. We will also instruct you on how to prevent such leaks and clogs with preventative care like hair traps and proper insulation in the winter.

The Importance of Professional Plumbing Repairs
Many small residential plumbers do not carry the correct amount of insurance or the proper licensing to do their work. They may encourage you to do plumbing projects without the needed permits. Maybe, they’re just new in town. You’ve never heard of them or anyone they may have done work for.
These are all problems you don’t have to worry about with us. As mentioned, we are fully licensed and insured and we’ll never encourage you to sign off on work without the necessary permits. Not only that, but we’ve been around. In fact, we’ve been around for more than 75 years and would be happy to provide references and reviews of work previously done.

The existing tankless water heater is not serviceable anymore. We will replace the water heater with a 50 gallon AO Smith tank type water heater. We will need to reconstruct some of the venting on the flue to reduce it to 4 inch. We will also need to change some of the gas piping in order to reach the new location of the water heater. The Water lines will be repiped to feed the top of the new water heater. We will install a thermal expansion tank and test for proper operation when completed. We will remove and dispose of the existing tankless heater. We will pull the toilet in the downstairs bathroom and cable the sewer. We will camera the line to inspect the sewer once the line is clear. We will reset the toilet and check for proper operation when completed. Results: The water heater installation went well. The drain cleaning had complications. There is a large blockage outside the house that needs to be evaluated. The drain in the crawlspace near the toilet is leaking into the cra
Replaced hose bib which was frozen and split. Converted from cpvc to pex. Turned on water checked for functionality and leaks. All is well. 1 year warranty on this job. Recommend customer install register to keep space warm in winter. No warranty against freezing. Note hole exposed already when i got here Valley/Towers does not repair or replace Sheetrock.
I removed and disposed of the old water heater. I installed a new 50 gallon water heater with a new emergency shut-off, water supply lines, expansion tank, and gas flex supply line. I also changed out the gas emergency stop with a quarter turn valve that can be turned by hand as per code. I added a sediment trap to the gas line as per code and strapped it down to a 2x4 so that it can’t move around. I built a small “pony wall†behind the water heater so that the earthquake straps are more effective and the heater cannot tip backwards in the event of an earthquake. I also had to extent the earthquake straps as the new heater is fatter. I cut out the old pressure reducing valve to the home and piped in a new one. The kitchen faucet had bad flow, so, I changed out the aerator. It is working great. The customer used an online coupon.
Estimate on replacing broken cast iron pipe and fittings.
Hose bib was broken off from the copper line that goes into it. Cut an access in the basement bedroom to install the new hose bib. Used pex pipe to run and connect the hose bib and kitchen line back into the cold water supply line. Cut an access in the sheetrock to look for another issue causing a leak and discovered that the kitchen drain line had a crack in the pipe causing water to leak down in the bedroom. I had to cut a section of wood about a foot long in order to cut the pipe out and install the new section to repair. Turned water back into the house and checked for leaks on the hosebib and the kitchen drain. (We Do Not Repair Sheetrock or Framing)
